Ginny Rowland
2012 Membership Committee Chairman

Ginny Rowland's love of painting began when her husband was stationed in Alaska during the years of 1964 - 1968.  Busy with work and family, she did not paint again until a move to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1973.  After joining the Cheyenne Artists Guild in 1985, she became an active leader at the guild.  She has been President several times and been a Board Member ever since she first joined.   Her work has been shown in the Western Spirit Art Show and Sale as well as the Juried National Art Show and Sale at the Cheyenne Artists Guild.  In 1994 she also, had a solo Exhibit and Sale at the Cheyenne Civic Center.  Over the years, Ginny has experimented with oil, pastel, tempera, acrylic and watercolor but for the last few years her emphasis has been painting in watercolor, since joining an online group of artists in a weekly art challenge.
