On many days you can find Dee James, our 2012 President of the Cheyenne Artist Guild, hard at work at the guild, helping make improvements and advancing the cause of art in Cheyenne. When not taking care of ongoing projects at CAG you will find her spending her time enjoying painting in various media. Over the last few years her focus has been in watercolor and pastels but don't be surprised to find her walk into the guild on any given day with an oil or acrylic painting! Dee's style ranges from more realistic landscapes and still life to thought provoking abstracts. Other organizations she belongs to is Wyoming First, a division of the Wyoming Business Council. She is also a board member of Art, Design and Dine in Cheyenne. Her work can be purchased at the Cheyenne Artists Guild as well as Lavender Essence located at 315 West Lincolnway, Cheyenne, WY.
