The Thompson Valley Art League presents the 2012 Regional Fine Arts Show June 8 through June 29, 2012. The show is held at the Lincoln Gallery, 429 N. Lincoln Avenue in Loveland, Colorado. Contact Jeff Brooks at 970- 663-2407 for information.
Eligibility:
Open to any artist working in listed categories. Works must be completed original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists and no installations or sets of works to make one entry. Entries must be in good taste and have not received a cash award from any previous TVAL sponsored shows. Two-D works must be completed in the last two years. Three-D works must be completed in the last 3 years.
Categories:
1. Oil Painting: oil paint and water-soluble oil paint
2. Water media: watercolor, tempera, casein or gouache
3. Mixed Media: pencil, charcoal, pen/ink, colored pencil, collage, mono-prints or combinations of media
4. Photography: Recording an object with an image-forming device. Image may be manipulated by emulsion or a digital means from artists’ original image. Computer graphic work is not accepted.
5. Three dimensional: includes Bas Relief
6. Acrylic: Acrylic polymer-based emulsion or paint
7. Pastel: chalk or oil-based
Artwork not meeting any of the above criteria shall be rejected.
Entries:
Only walk-in entries of original artworks will be accepted for Jurying. Works are accepted at the Lincoln Gallery starting May 30, 11 am to 5 pm, through Saturday, June 2, at 1 pm. No entries will be accepted after 1:00 pm.
