Steve Rodriguez, July Art Design and Dine Featured Artist at CAG

"Sentry" 18x24 Airbrush Painting by Steve Rodriquez

"The Guardian"  18x24 Airbrush Painting by Steve Rodriquez

Cheyenne Artists Guild presents CAG member,
 Steve Rodriguez
as the July featured Artist during Art Design and Dine.
The opening reception will be July 12th from 5-8.
Stop in to meet Steve and view his work.
Artist, Steve Rodriguez received both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Wyoming.  Retiring from teaching art at Central High School in 2001 after 32 years, Steve has devoted his talent and time to creating fine art works.
He works exclusively with the airbrush in his watercolor and acrylic paintings depicting Southwest scenes in bright and radiant colors.  He uses the pottery of the Anazi and Pueblo Indians as subject matter with Monument Valley and the Taos Pueblos of New Mexico as backgrounds.
His strict attention to detail in life-like realism has lifted the use of the airbrush above and beyond the commerical realm of past airbrush artists.  Thus, he has strived for a fine art quality through decorative and highly realistic motifs in his work.
