Don't miss this opportunity! During our next member meeting on April 1, 2013. Lynn Newman, our guest speaker will be sharing ideas on how to identify your artistic vision, and how that plays out in "real" life.
"My paintings are about the idea of looking at common things (like sagebrush) to discover the uncommon things (like the gorgeous blues in a Wyoming sagebrush). I would like to share this idea with my students — Art is about discovering ourselves in the everyday. We need to make a concerted effort (art) to discover ourselves in the small moments or we’re certain to miss our larger connections to the world around us."
