Kurz-Andrews Scholarship Show

In 1962 The Cheyenne Artists Guild founded the Kurz-Andrews Scholarship to honor Leo Kurz, and M.J. (Bud) Andrews who were two early Guild presidents. The Scholarship is available for Laramie County School District # 1 high school seniors interested in pursuing education and training in 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional art. Currently the Scholarship pays $750 each to two recipients. One of the scholarships goes to a 2-Dimensional young artist and the other goes to a 3-Dimensional young artist. Second place receives $100 worth of art supplies, and Third place receives $75 worth of art supplies. Funds are sent to the recipients' college or institution of their choice for a fine arts education.
