Hi friends of the Cheyenne Artists Guild!
First of all, let me tell you I am NOT a qualified person to take videos and this happens to be the first I have ever tried to do with this camera (and only 1 other time with my old camera).... so please have patience with me and my lack of camera expertise. I have no real clue as to how to set the lighting on my camera, so the video is a little dark! My unsmooth camera movement is a whole separate issue and I hope you don't get motion sickness! If you overlook my flaws as a camera person, I thought you might enjoy a quick glimpse of the sights and sounds of the reception, so I am sending it your way! I took the video a little before the official 2 PM start of the reception, as you can see the crowd was beginning to arrive! It was not long until the room was packed with people!!! All the excellent photos below were taken by Tony James, our CAG in-house photographer! Thank goodness, Tony takes most of the photos of guild events for this blog, as you now know, my skill is not photography! Thanks for your help, Tony, it's appreciated!
P.S. Coming soon.....Watch for another post showing the winning art!
