Spend an intensive two days learning the basics of painting with your favorite medium and its application to creating innovative and exciting paintings. This workshop will cover the following technical and fundamental applications of various media and artistic considerations using demonstrations and practice sessions.
Students will learn:
- Developing thumbnails for problem solving
- Working with color
- Focusing on the importance of lost and found edges
- Critique sessions
This workshop will assist students in obtaining a certain level of confidence in their painting ability and to acquire skills that can be used with any painting medium.
Students can bring their own reference material (photos, sketches, etc).
Costs for the two day workshop are as follows:
$125 for CAG members
$150 for non members
