LOWE'S UPDATE!!!

WORK AT GUILD TO START APRIL 28!
PICK UP YOUR
EASTER SHOW ART EARLY!!!

Due to the questionable weather last weekend the start date on the Lowe's project was changed. The plan was to begin on the exterior but considering the iffy April weather, repairs will  begin inside first! Work will now start on April 28 by replacing the guilds old flooring. (Yes this is one more great project Lowe's has added to their "To-Do List" for the us! Thank you, Lowe's!) On April 28th the work will begin by Lowe's pulling up the carpet,  as well as sanding the floor and then painting the gallery.  Meanwhile outside, some of our local girl scouts will help by scraping the old paint from the guild's exterior, doing their part in contributing to the Lowe's Community Project.  We are excited for the project to begin, and want the public to know that because of the construction, all art needs to be picked up from the gallery by 4:30PM, April 27 at the latest!

BE SURE TO MAKE A NOTE ON YOUR CALENDAR

TO PICK UP YOUR ART BEFORE 4:30 PM, APRIL 27TH!

LOWE'S UPDATE!!!

Cami Ravenscroft and CAG President,Dee James
discussing plans for the galleries new look!
Earlier I reported the exciting news about Lowe's coming to the rescue of the Cheyenne Artists Guild by undertaking the major project of painting the exterior of our guild home, the Van Tassell Carriage House. (It's hard to keep a secret too long... so I'm going to tell you now...) Not only will Lowe's be doing the exterior they have offered to freshen up the interior as well! Last week, Lowe's personal: Cami Ravenscroft, Commercial Sales and Tonya Reis, Department Manager of Paint Windows and Doors came by the guild with paint chips in hand and other surprise samples of materials to give our building a new more inviting look!!! (Sorry you will have to wait till next time to find out about the other surprise samples... I'm not giving the secret away yet!) Cami's plan is to update the dark blue walls to a middle toned neutral gray. By doing this the art hanging on the walls will really pop!!!
