This special Cheyenne Artists Guild Members Only show will exhibit through December 28th, allowing plenty of time for the everyone to visit the show and shop for Christmas!  Help support our local artists and the guild by filling your loved ones stockings with one of a kind Christmas treasures from the Cheyenne Artists Guild as well as the CAG Gift Shop!  Spread the word to your friends.... shop Cheyenne!

As a note to those of you that have not yet joined the Cheyenne Artists Guild, this would be a wonderful time to join in on the fun and fellowship of the Cheyenne Artist Guild! Plus...if you join the CAG now...membership is good until December 2014!!!!!

"One never saw my Dad without at least one camera around his neck.  It didn’t matter where he was; it was captured in one of his numerous pictures.  He loved flowers, sunsets, my baby daughter’s “Cabbage Patch” toes; family…he loved to fish.  I lost my Dad a few years ago.  That is when I picked up a camera.  I would go for walks and take pictures of things that I thought others might miss…a praying mantis on a branch, a spider web, that one drop of water on a flower petal.  I love this world that God has created.  I love that I am able to take photos of His creations and I especially love the flowers.  As Dodinsky wrote...“To the flowers I whisper the secrets I keep and the hopes I breathe.  I know they are there to eavesdrop for the angels.”  And there I remember with love, my Dad.  I hope you enjoy the photos I have captured.  I take them with the hope that they might inspire someone along the way and maybe take their hopes and dreams up to the angels."

Tony is an award winning photographer and will be on hand to visit with you about his photograph "Tivoli" as well as his other wonderful photos. Mohala, "Mo", our talented CAG manager, will be showing both her paintings as well as her own photographs. Bright colors, lively shapes and striking imagery. Just a few of the words that can be used to to describe the artwork of Mohala Johnson. She has a very unique style and her art is as random as she. Drop the guild between 5-8 to see some beautiful art as well as visit some great folks! Mo and Tony will be looking forward to visiting with you!

Tony James Featured Artist at the YMCA

at the YMCA for the month of August.

The exhibit will open on August 1st and end August 31st. There will be a reception on August 10th from 5-6 pm. On August 1st, Tony and Chris Shay of the YMCA will appear on News Channel 5 at 6am to promote the event. Tony was recently honored with a purchase award at the Governor's Capitol Art Exhibition. His work was of 10 purchased by the State of Wyoming to be exhibited in various State Office locations.

Please feel free to stop by the YMCA and visit with Tony during the reception!

Call for Art at the Washakie Museum

Hello Artist Guild members, 

We would like to invite you and your guild members to be a part 

of our first annual Christmas Art Festival and Exhibition (C.a.f.e.) 

at the Washakie Museum in Worland. The exhibition is open to 

most fine art mediums, excluding jewelry, photography, and 

clothing. Artists will have an opportunity to sell their artworks and

get some visibility through the state of Wyoming! For more information
